Advanced Greenway Prime Suite Weekend Workshops in Phoenix, Arizona!

In addition to our already popular Lunchbox Webinar Series, MDS will be providing FREE Advanced Weekend Workshops in our state-of-the-art Phoenix, Arizona training center for customers of MDS Medical Software. Our first class is Advanced Report Writing in March - and the registration is open. Please be aware these classes are first come, first serve - as space is limited.

We have special rates available with the Xona Resort Suites in Scottsdale that is a short drive to the MDS training center. Upon your registration, you will receive an information packet with a comprehensive agenda, maps, and travel accommodations. The Resort Suites is dead center in the middle of swanky North Scottsdale - 5 minutes from City North, Kierland Commons, and Desert Ridge Marketplace. There are literally hundreds of world-class and casual restaurants within a 5 minute drive. Please do not book your travel arrangements until you have received an official confirmation of your registration request.

Electronic Prescribing PrimeSuite Update

MDS has just gotten word from Greenway Medical Technologies that PrimeSuite will have its full e-prescribing functionality released no later than 3/31/09. In order to leverage eRx, MDS will need to upgrade your practice to the latest version of PrimeSuite. In addition, you will be provided with the e-prescribing paperwork for processing and approval by Dr. First - the e-prescribing connectivity provider for PrimeSuite. MDS will provide training opportunities on eRx, so please continue to watch for information on eRx training on the Medical Software Training and Events Calendar.

We will continue to keep you updated on the status of eRx as information becomes available to MDS.

Hot Greenway Prime Suite Tip!

Are your patients asking for a report of their charges and payments in 2008 for tax purposes?

The Account Information Report is the best source for this information but the amount of data can be overwhelming at times.

For a chronological view of the activity on an account, try printing the report in "Unexpanded Details" display mode. You will find this setting at the bottom of the report criteria for this page.

For a more detailed view of the services rendered and the payments and adjustments applied to those services, select to "Include - Charges" only and choose the "Expanded Details" display mode.

Both of these sets of criteria selections will reduce the amount of information displayed on the report by default.
