Contacting MDS For Technical Support
MDS is always aiming to deliver the highest quality medical software support services in the industry. As a customer, you now enjoy several, convenient methods of contacting MDS for support.
MDS Online Support Portal
More and more of our customers are enjoying the benefits of submitting and viewing their cases online via the MDS Support Portal.
Several benefits to using the support portal include:
- Online submission automatically routes your cases to our support system and notifies our entire support department. This saves you time and ensures the fastest resolution to your issue.
- Easily track the status of any cases submitted.
- Attach important information and documents to cases.
- Add comments to update the support representative on the case.
- Search our knowledge base and find solutions to issues that other MDS clients have encountered in addition to downloading our MDS 2009/2010 Holiday Schedule and other important information.

To access the technical support portal, go to support.mdsmedicalsupport.com. Use your username and password that you received from MDS to login. If you do not have a username and password or have forgotten your login information, please contact our support department with your full name and email address.

MDS Support Email
Submit cases via email: support@mdsmedicalsoftware.com; please be sure to give detailed descriptions of your support problems and include any attachments that may help our support team.

However, when emailing support@mdsmedicalsoftware.com, you can direct your email to an individual MDS staff member.

Viewing Historical Claims
Have you ever needed to see what a claim looked like before you made corrections to it? The ability to view a historical claim allows you to track claim errors for more accurate claim handling. View Claim is available from the Claims Maintenance page and the Claims Processing page. View Claim gives you the ability to see all the dates for the claim and select a historical claim for review. In addition, you can print claims or reprocess claims from this view.
The following steps allow you to access historical claims from the claim viewer:
- From A/R Management, select Claims Maintenance or Claims Processing
- Select a claim or claims
- Click View Claim to launch the View Claim dialog
- Selected claim(s) return in the main pane of the dialog at the top of the page
- Click the Switch to History View link at the top right of the Current View information pane you see at the bottom of the page to display historical claims data in the information pane
- Select a different version of the Claim you are reviewing from the information pane and click View Historical Claim to open it in the main pane at the top of the dialog
- Review the claim
When you are ready to return to the current version of this claim, select the Switch to Current View link in the top right corner of the History View information pane at the bottom of the screen.
