Hot PrimeSuite Tip!
Transaction Detail Balancing Report - Display in Entry Order Option
Did you know you now have the ability to print the Summary, Section I and Section II pages of the Transaction Detail Balancing report in entry order?
This can be extremely useful in looking for mistakes. Now that the Summary portion of the report can be generated in entry order, the need to generate the detail sections is lessened.
For a more detailed view of the services rendered and the payments and adjustments applied to those services, select to "Include - Charges" only and choose the "Expanded Details" display mode.
Example: Charge entry personnel may find it useful to group the Summary report by patient and print it in entry order. This would total all of the Charges, Payments and Adjustments for each Patient and the patients would be listed in the order that transactions were posted to them. (i.e. If you posted a transaction to Patient A, then posted to Patient B, and went back to Patient A to post something else, Patients would be listed on the report in the order A, B, and A.)
- On the Reporting menu, go to Report Selection.
- Select Transaction Detail Balancing report under A/R Management or from your Favorites.
- Select Summary as the Report Type.
- Use other criteria options to refine the results as desired.
- Select the Display in Entry Order checkbox at the bottom of the criteria options.
- Review the resulting report to check for errors.
