Lab Interface to Electronically Receive Lab Results
McKesson's PracticePoint Chart Electronic Medical Records allows you to receive your lab results electronically and upload them directly into the system with just a click of a button.
Quest Labs
- With the Quest Labs interface, you simply download your results file from the Quest on Demand website and upload the patient lab results directly into your system. The lab results are imported into a clinical in-box in PracticePoint Chart. From there, the clinical staff can review the information and then send it on to the patient's folder to be added to the patients electronic health record.
LabCorp Labs
- PracticePoint Chart has an interface available that allows Labcorp lab results to be pulled into the system electronically from Labcorp. Labcorp offers two ways to get the lab results from them into PracticePoint Chart. Modem and Communications Software: With a dedicated modem, we can help you set up a modem script to receive the lab results. Results are downloaded via the modem to a folder on the hard drive, analyzed and distributed to the patient's files via PracticePoint Chart.
