End-Of-Service (EOS) Statement
McKesson, the manufacturer of PracticePoint Manager PPM medical billing and patient scheduling software, has discontinued all support and development of Practice Point Manager effective 11/3/2008. McKesson has notified all channel partners, including MDS, that the 800 support number for the system has been disconnected and McKesson will not provide further support on PracticePoint Manager for any reason. MDS has data conversion programs and special offers available for practices still using PracticePoint Manager - please contact MDS Medical for information regarding conversion to newer technology systems such as Greenway PrimeSuite.
MDS has successfully converted over 50 practices from Practice Point Manager to Greenway PrimeSuite - the product recently awarded the 2008 #1 Best in KLAS EMR and Practice Management software for 6-25 physicians; and the #1 Best in KLAS EMR for 2-5 physicians.f you are a practice still using PracticePoint Manager, it is necessary for you to immediately transition to a new product - as your practice could face significant cash flow disruptions resulting from medical electronic claims clearinghouse submission issues and/or complete system failures. For clients under contract with MDS for software services and support, MDS will render best effort support to investigate, troubleshoot, and characterize issues in an attempt to provide solutions and workarounds. This support is limited to functionality and available information for end of life software. MDS will not provide support and or services regarding certain known issues that can not be resolved and or are not reasonable to investigate or troubleshoot.

Claims are generated by patient, payer or provider in either paper or electronic format. Other Billing options allow you to rebill claims and generate finance charges.
