PracticePoint Manager (PPM) from McKesson
McKesson, the manufacturer of PracticePoint Manager PPM (also known as POM) medical billing and patient scheduling software, discontinued all support and development of Practice Point Manager effective 11/3/2008. The product was discontinued in February of 2007.
McKesson will not provide further support on PracticePoint Manager for any reason. The McKesson team that developed PPM is now defunct. MDS has data conversion programs and special offers available for practices still using PracticePoint Manager.

Help! We have Critical PracticePoint Manager Errors and Failures
If you are experiencing PPM error messages, data loss, or problems submitting claims through PracticePoint Manager, it is critical that you migrate to a new practice management and medical billing system immediately. Should PPM fail to initialize, it is possible that your data may be unrecoverable. How can MDS help our practice with PracticePoint Manager?
MDS has successfully converted over 50 practices from Practice Point Manager to Greenway PrimeSuite. Please note – MDS does not offer PracticePoint Manager application support for practices not purchasing Greenway PrimeSuite from MDS.
If your practice is still using PracticePoint Manager, it is necessary for you to immediately transition to a new product – as your practice could face significant cash flow disruptions resulting from McKesson RelayHealth Electronic Claims submission issues and/or complete system failures.
Does MDS offer technical support for PracticePoint Manager?
For clients under contract with MDS for Greenway PrimeSuite software services and support, MDS will render best effort support to investigate, troubleshoot, and characterize issues in an attempt to provide solutions and workarounds. This support is limited to functionality and available information. MDS will not provide support and or services regarding certain known issues that can not be resolved and or are not reasonable to investigate or troubleshoot.
